Nexxus Aloe Rid Shampoo Review: Best Detox Shampoo?
You wouldn’t think that there could be so much confusion about a drug test shampoo. But there is a lot of confusion around Aloe Rid. So what I’m going to do in this Old Style Aloe Rid detox shampoo review is explain exactly what it is, and how you use it.
I’ll clear up the confusion around the different names that it has, and why that happened. I will also tell you just how good this stuff is at clearing away drug toxins to pass a hair follicle drug test (it’s important to understand how drug toxins interact with the hair).
All that, plus I’ll tell you about the Macujo method, which is the most potent way of actually passing a hair follicle drug test. That uses all style Aloe Rid and I’ll briefly explain how it fits into that powerful method.
Why People Get Confused About Aloe Rid Detox Shampoo
Let’s clear up the confusion around Aloe Rid detox shampoo right here at the beginning of this review of it.
It used to be made by a company called Nexxus. And was known as “Aloe Rid shampoo”.
It was a very potent clarifying shampoo, designed for swimmers and other people with heavy toxin levels building up on the hair. But unfortunately, it was so powerful that it could burn scalps and caused some people hair problems, so they changed the formula and made it milder.
But people had realized that you could use this original formula to wash drug toxins out of your hair. But when the formula was made less potent, it couldn’t do it anymore.
So the old style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo became like gold dust. As stocks dwindled the prices went up. People made a lot of money out of it. Then people started selling fakes and the whole thing got messy.
Recently, a company called Test Clear recreated the original formula. Testclear also have a great detox pill, what is called Toxin Rid: you can read an excellent guide out it on:
With these detox pills, its easy to clean your system of drugs within a few days. They have different detox programs, the shortest one is 1 the long one is 10 days.
They basically got the formula and then paid a company to recreate it. That’s why it’s now Test Clear “Old-Style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo”. But you could hear about it with any of the following names:
- Nexxus Aloe Rid shampoo
- Old-style aloe toxin rid shampoo
- Aloe Rid detox shampoo
- Old-style Aloe Rid
- Nexxus Aloe Rid
- Aloe toxin rid shampoo
But the bottom line here is they are all the same thing. They are the new Test Clear product. Don’t go near any listings on eBay or Amazon, anywhere like that, that claim its original Nexxus stock. It isn’t, it’s a con, that stuff all sold out years ago.
Also, be warned that Nexxus still does Aloe Rid shampoo. It’s in a black bottle with a blue flash along the top. That’s not the stuff you want, that’s the new mild formula. You need the Test Clear product.
My Experience With Using Old Style Aloe Toxin Rid Shampoo
So how good is old-style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo? Well, I passed a hair drug test for a new job last year using it.
This stuff isn’t cheap, from Test Clear it costs $235 for a single bottle. An incredible price, but if you want a job, or to stay out on probation, then it’s a price worth paying. You can actually buy it with Zydot Ultra Clean bundled in, and you’ll need both for the method I used.
It’s called the Macujo method and is one of only two methods that can genuinely pass a hair drug test (often inaccurately called a hair follicle drug test even though test has nothing to do with the hair follicles), the other one being called the Jerry G method.
Let me explain what has to happen to get rid of drug toxins in the hair:
- When you use drugs the metabolites travel around the bloodstream and get trapped under hair forming in the follicles. As that hair grows out, the drug metabolites are trapped inside the outer layer of that hair, forming an indelible record of your drug use along the length of the hair or head.
- The only way to clean those metabolites out is to use something that can open up the cuticle layer, the hard top layer of the hair shaft, which is basically tens of thousands of tiny scales, and then flush out the toxins. You’ll then condition the hair to close up those scales again and keeps the hair safe.
- No detox shampoo can do this other than Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo. But even on its own, it’s not powerful enough to remove lots of drug toxins, you have to use it as part of the Macujo method.
The Details You Need About Aloe Rid Detox Shampoo
So why is Old-Style Aloe Toxin Rid detox shampoo so potent?
The main ingredients, including propylene glycol, can all help to remove toxins from the hair, free radicals, stuff like that. But more than that, those ingredients (although I’m not sure which ones) have the power to start to open up those cuticles which protect the hair and give it its flexibility and strength.
So when you wash your hair with this stuff every time you do it, you open up some of the cuticles, and it flushes out some of the toxins. You have to do it several times.
But unless you only have a few toxins in your hair shaft, it will struggle to do on its own. If you are a regular weed smoker for example, then the Macujo method is the only way you can successfully remove drug toxins from your hair, and part of that method involves using old style Aloe Rid detox shampoo.
Using Old Aloe Toxin Rid With The Macujo Method
If you’d like to read a detailed review and step-by-step guide to using the Macujo method to pass a hair follicle drug test then click here. Briefly, the steps are:
- Get all the ingredients together, including Old-Style Aloe Rid. You’ll have to do the method twice per day for several days (ideally one week).
- Each time you do the Macujo method you have to go through a process where you put the various ingredients in your hair, wash them out, and repeat. The key step of that is using Old Style Aloe Toxin Rid shampoo.
- After you’ve completed the washing step several times (recommended twice per day over seven days, you have less days then do it three times a day), just before you go for the drug test you use the Zydot Ultra Clean to get rid of any stray toxins on the surface of the hair shafts.
I’m telling you that it’s a very invasive way of passing a drug test. But it won’t destroy your hair like the Jerry G method does because that contains ammonia in the process. I’ve read horror stories about people ruining their hair with that.
The Macujo method is safe. Plus, Aloe Rid detox shampoo is really gentle because of the aloe vera in it. Not only does it have the potency alongside the other ingredients in the Macujo method to open up the cuticles and strip out the drug toxins, but it’s also gentle enough to condition the hair so that you are not having your hair breaking off and looking horrendous.
When I did the Macujo method I had five days until my drug test. I knew it was coming, and I already had everything in stock, but I only got five day’s notice (what’s the point in starting it before you know and giving up smoking).
I did it three times per day for five days, and then on the day of my test once more, followed by Zydot. I was really nervous because you can’t really test for the presence of metabolites yourself unless you spend about $50 on a home hair drug test kit (you still have to get sent off to be analyzed).
But using the Macujo method and the awesome Aloe Rid drug test shampoo I passed and got the job.
I’ll also just mention here that I know someone who passed a drug test in April 2019 using the Macujo method as well (recommended by me). He’s Afro-American and has Rasta hair, and he passed as well. So it has the potency, as long as you use Aloe Rid as part of the Macujo method, to get inside any type of hair and remove the toxins.
Where To Buy Old Style Aloe Rid
As I mentioned earlier in this Nexxus Aloe Rid shampoo review, the only place you can now buy that original Nexxus formula is from Test Clear. It’s not cheap, as this stuff will cost you $235 for a single bottle. But there is enough in the bottle to complete the Macujo method twice per day for seven days.
You can also buy it as a combo deal with Zydot Ultra Clean, which basically gives you the Zydot for free. Not a huge saving, but better than nothing.
So look guys, please don’t try any other detox shampoo or any other hair detox method. The Jerry G method is the only other one that works, and it ruins your hair. And those other detox shampoos out there (rubbish like Hair Razor shampoo) simply don’t work stop they will remove the surface toxins, but they do not have the ability to open up the cuticles and flush out toxins from the shaft the hair underneath like Old-Style Aloe Rid shampoo.
