The Annotation of Arabidopsis thaliana and Rice remains a problem in terms of time and quality. To improve the annotation process, we have chosen the most appropriate tools to use on our annotation platform. It is found that Genemark.hmm is the most accurate exon prediction software and gene modeler at all analysis level of the Arabidopsis thaliana genome. Main aim is to develop a task launching platform with software linking capacity. A special effort is being made to build a real genomic dataset of high quality for Rice. (RiceSet). A genetic algorithm (GA) for the prediction of ORFs across species is also being developed. A database of diiferent patterns of DNA and Protein in disease and drought resistant sequences has been developed. The results will be discussed.
