The SUWAN database (SUWANbase) contains information about allelic classification of maize microsatellite markers. This database has been established to facilitate for integrating maize inbred fingerprint, genetic map and comparative genomic studies. The allelic forms of microsatellite marker were classified based on allele standard. These data will provide tools for researchers to compare allelic form from various maize germplasms and formulate hypotheses about the diversity at the sub-region of the chromosome. The SUWANbase is accessible through the web site: http://DNA.kps.ac.th/suwan.
