The Journal of Agricultural Genomics (JAG), is devoted to providing a publication forum in a web-based environment about current research discoveries in agricultural genomics. Formerly known as The Journal of Quantitative Trait Loci, JAG has evolved to encompass the wider multi-disciplinary field of agricultural genomics and to take advantage of state-of-the-art information technologies. Authors are encouraged to submit a wide variety of manuscripts in electronic formats that include hot links to raw data, software, tutorials, photographic images and mpeg movies describing the investigation. JAG is a publicly available (without charge), electronic publication, http://www.ncgr.org/ag/jag, housed at the National Center for Genome Resources (NCGR) a non-profit bioinformatics organization.
