FlyBase is a database of genetic and molecular data concerning Drosophila. The scope of FlyBase includes: genes, alleles (and phenotypes), aberrations, transposons, pointers to sequence data, clones, stock lists, bibliographic references and contact information for Drosophila workers. Primary access to FlyBase is through a multi-protocol server (http://flybase.bio.indiana.edu/, gopher://flybase.bio.indiana.edu/72/) and mirrors (see http://flybase.bio.indiana.edu/alt-views/mirrors/). A variety of general and specialized query and browsing tools provide access to FlyBase data.
