An information resource of information on the small flowering plant
Arabidopsis thaliana is being maintained at Stanford University. This
project includes the AAtDB database, previously developed and
maintained at Massachusetts General Hospital by Goodman and Morris.
The Stanford project is developing software to provide Arabidopsis
information through World Wide Web. Several new features are being
provided by the Stanford project. One of these features that will be
described is the ability to perform BLAST and FASTA sequence searching
against only known Arabidopsis DNA and protein sequences. The project
will include the integration of information from a variety of sources.
This project is supported by a grant from the NSF (BIR9503776).
