The BIOSCI Newsgroups workshop will cover the use of electronic
newsgroups and mail, WAIS, and Gopher in communicating with
biologists worldwide. Newsgroups offer access to expertise in
experimental methods via the BIOSCI METHODS newsgroup and also
serve as communication vehicles for a variety of research
specialties (such as the Arabidopsis community BIOSCI newsgroup).
Forums are also available for posting employment,opportunities
position desired notices, journal contents information prior to
publication, funding agency announcements, and other information.
All BIOSCI services are offered without charge and are supported
by a grant from NSF, DOE, and NIH. To find out more, please
