ABSTRACTS THAT DO NOT INCLUDE ALL OF THE REQUIRED INFORMATION WILL BE REJECTED WITHOUT NOTICE!!
All accepted abstracts are limited to 250 words within the "abstract text" section and will be included in the final printed program.
The abstract submission deadline for PAG XVII is Friday, 3 October, 2008, please submit your abstract as soon as possible. Over 1000 Abstracts are expected and poster space availability may depend on the date of abstract submission. If your plans change and you cannot attend, please inform us so that we may free up poster space for other potential attendees; blank poster spaces can be a nuisance. Abstracts can only submitted using the form on the PAG XVII web site. If further assistance is needed please contact one of the abstract coordinators by email or phone.

Workshop and speaker abstracts will appear in the Final Abstract Guide for PAG XVII, but not in the exhibit hall.
Computer demonstrations are also NOT presented in the exhibit hall; however, poster boards will be allocated in the exhibit hall for those that selected to present Computer Demonstration and Poster abstracts.
If you want to have both a workshop oral presentation and a poster, submit two separate and different abstracts, properly labeled. The poster board size at the meeting will be 3 feet 10 inches (1.17 meters) high by 2 feet 10 inches (0.86 meters) wide. This is the actual usable space!
Submitting a computer abstract means that the program or system you are presenting is either on a computer at the PAG XVII computer room or is accessible via the Internet. NO commercial software will be allowed for either abstracts or demonstrations.
IMPORTANT
Please be advised that all accepted abstracts are considered public information and by submitting an abstract you agree to license PAG XVII and Scherago International to post the abstract on the conference web site.
PAG XVII abstracts will be available online for browsing and searching on December 10, 2008. All previous PAG meeting paper/poster abstracts have been indexed for convenient searching from the International Plant & Animal Genomes Conference Archives.
