Workshop Topics:

This workshop will cover NCBI processing of genome sequence data, finding and using the data, and resources available at the NCBI.

The workshop will cover NCBI processing of genome sequence and annotation data and review data access and availability in several resources including Entrez Gene and the Map Viewer. The speakers will describe the genome annotation pipeline, quality assurance testing for the RefSeq and Conserved CDS projects, and the processing and collaborations that support Entrez Gene. We will provide task-based examples of using available resources and tools.
