Use Of A New High-Density Size Standard For Sizing Across Multiple Fragment Analysis Applications

A high performance size standard is essential for many fragment analysis applications, including AFLP®, VNTR, STR, BAC fingerprinting, and SNP analysis. Using the Applied Biosystems 5th dye technology, we have developed a new high-density size standard with larger sizing range and no peak migration anomalies. This new size standard provides improved sizing precision over a wide sizing range that span both small and large fragment sizes. In this presentation we will describe our new size standard and illustrate its use with a variety of fragment analysis applications.
