Using genome-oriented data and resources available at the NCBI

This workshop will cover many aspects of finding and using genome-oriented data and resources available at the NCBI. The speakers will review genome data processing pipelines including the NCBI genome annotation pipeline. In addition, we will present information about NCBI's 'Genome Champion' project to expand communication with research communities in order to facilitate data submission, retrieval, and use of available data. We will provide examples of using available resources and tools including Genome Workbench, a new genome sequence analysis and annotation tool.
