EPICENTRE Workshop - Royal Palm Salon 1, 2 & 3
Organizer: Jim Pease,
EPICENTRE
Topic: From Single Cell to Microarrays and qRT-PCR: An Improved RNA Amplification System for Transcription Profiling of Small Cell Samples.
Increasingly, RNA amplification methods are being employed to generate sufficient
amounts of RNA for microarrays and qRT-PCR. EPICENTRE scientists will discuss the
TargetAmp RNA Amplification kits which utilize an improved linear RNA amplification
procedure capable of producing microgram quantities of amplified RNA from the total RNA
contained in as little as one cell. Also, the new MessageBOOSTER Kit for amplifying RNA
from as little as 1 cell for sensitive and reproducible qRT-PCR will be introduced. An
overview of the TargetAmp and MessageBOOSTER kits and performance data will be
presented.
