Affymetrix Services At NASC

Since 2002, NASC (the European Arabidopsis stock centre) has operated an Affymetrix service for customers. Our focus is on plant experiments, however we have processed Affymetrix hybridisations for a range of species as part of our cost recovery program in order to reduce the costs of our Arabidopsis service. We operate on a not-for-profit basis.
Included in the service are all steps after the initial RNA extraction. You grow your plants and extract your RNA. You send the RNA to us in the post. We perform quality control to check the integrity of your sample before proceeding with the sample preparation and hybridization.
