PAG

Introduction

This draft plan will be updated periodically and minor changes may occur as the program details are finalized. These changes are likely to occur in the schedule until late into the fall of 2004.

Administration:

Scherago International is the conference organizer for PAG-XIII. All administrative questions should be addressed to Darrin Scherago at Scherago International Inc., 11 Penn Plaza, Suite 1003, New York, NY 10001. His phone number is 1-212-643-1750 (extension 20) (FAX number is 1-212-643-1758) and their Internet e-mail address is pag@scherago.com.

Abstracts:

Participants are invited to submit abstracts for the poster session either in hard copy (printed form) or by e-mail (see the meeting abstracts section details). There were over 900 posters at PAG-XII. The abstract forms will have a set of categories to assure your proper placement of your poster in the exhit hall. The printed abstract forms are now available from Scherago International, however electronic submissions are much preferred and easier. The conference has some suggestions and guidelines for those who will present posters, as well as those who will give talks in the sessions and at the workshops.

This year all posters will remain up for almost the entire length of the meeting. You may start to put up your poster on Saturday morning, January 10, 2004. Posters need to be taken down by 1:00 pm on Wednesday this year. Those presenting posters are to accompany the posters during the mixer/reception when your poster is scheduled, either Sunday (odd numbered posters) or Monday (Even numbered posters).

All abstracts will be reviewed by members of the organizing committee. The normal review turn-around time will be within two - three weeks after the deadline for the receipt of the abstracts. This year any abstracts not submitted electronically should be submitted to: PAG Abstracts (c/o G. Lazo), USDA-ARS, 800 Buchanan Street Albany, CA 94710-1105 USA. You should consider your abstract accepted, unless otherwise notified about your abstract(s). All abstracts should be submitted directly via the web. If you encounter problems, please e-mail to: help@www.intl-pag.org.
