Workshop Title: From Microarrays to Plate Arrays; Advances in Technology

Description: The study of the genome and proteome presents many challenges to the researcher. One of these is finding the best way to study tens of thousands of features in as short a time as possible. With the advances in miniaturization and automation over the recent past, several approaches are now available for producing high-density arrays on specialist slides and plates. In this workshop hosted by Genomic Solutions, Alpha Innotech and The Gel Company, we will discuss the range of new approaches to microarray production and analysis with the use of novel software, substrates and imaging techniques.
