Workshop Background:

This workshop is organised under the auspices of the Domestic Animal Genome Sequencing Committee of the Interantional Society for Animal Genetics (ISAG). The current international status of domestic animal genome sequencing will be presented for swine, cattle and chicken. Presentations are scheduled to permit updates in swine, poultry, cattle activities as well as to update the community with respect to ongoing activities at the NIH with respect to solicitations for new genome sequencing initiatives.
