ABSTRACTS NOT INCLUDING ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION WILL BE REJECTED!!

All accepted abstracts are limited to 250 words and will be included in the final printed program.

The abstract submission deadline for PAG-XI Posters was Friday, 4 October, 2002.. We have been informed that we have exceeded the initial room space allocated for posters; however, additional poster boards have been requested. A few additional submissions are possible until further notice. Due the large number of abstracts, space availability may depend on the date of the abstract submission. While electronic web submission is preferred. If further assistance is needed, please contact abstract coordinators by phone, FAX, e-mail, or regular post.

Additional Abstract Information

Workshop and speaker abstracts are not presented in the exhibit hall.

Computer demonstrations are also NOT presented in the exhibit hall; however, poster boards will be allocated in the exhibit hall for those that selected to present Computer Demonstration and Poster abstracts.

If you want to have both a workshop/speaker talk and a poster, submit two separate and different abstracts, properly labeled. The poster board size at the meeting will be 3 feet 10 inches (1.17 meters) high by 2 feet 10 inches (0.86 meters) wide. This is the actual usable space!

Submitting a computer abstract means that either the program or system you are presenting is either on a computer at the PAG-XI computer room or is accessible via the Internet. NO commercial software will be allowed for either abstracts or demonstrations.

IMPORTANT

Please be advised that all accepted abstracts are considered public information and by submiting an abstract you agree to give the conference a license to put the abstract up on the conference web site.

Special Note:

PAG-XI abstracts will be available online for browsing and searching on December 13, 2002. All ten (10) previous PAG meeting paper/poster abstracts have been indexed for convenient searching from the International Plant & Animal Genomes Conference Homepage.
